Monday, March 12, 2012 - Goodness me, but we like this wine. A lot. From previous bottles we have learned that it seems to prefer decanting and an hour or two relaxing to show at its best, so we gave it exactly that. Colour is still a fresh light red, but just starting to fade at the rim. Aroma was splendid - fresh red fruits and cherry, but with savoury twig/undergrowth notes that makes each inhalation a pleasure. Backed up on the palette with really smooth finish and good length. Loved it.
