Friday, October 27, 2006 - Decanted for about 45 minutes before the first sip then drank over the course of 1.5 hrs. Strong nose of red peppers w/ hints of red and black cherries jumps from the glass. Over the course of the next hour, the pepper scents and flavors blew off allowing more the red fruit and cassis flavors to shine. This wonderful wine unfolded nicely, and I think I'll be waiting a couple of years before cracking another one.
