Friday, February 16, 2018 - Still quite deep and dark of colour. Complex nose of blood plum, cassis, tobacco, sweet cedar and purple flowers. It is glossy in the mouth with concentrated fruit flavours and plenty of savoury nuance. For a wine of good size it is impeccably proportioned and balance is outstanding. Tannins are sweet and spherical and length is impressive. A very classy wine that is still extremely youthful.
