Tuesday, December 25, 2018 - Absolutely stunning - best wine of the day and one-upped the close second best, Cos D 2004. Dark chocolate, black fruits, tobacco bitterness. So complex, luscious and seductive. Long and warm finish with a slight bitter coffee aftertaste. Felt so at home. The Cos D was elegant but the Ornellaia kept pushing boundaries. Unforgettable. Drinking at its peak now, and probably will hold for a couple more years
