Monday, October 7, 2019 - The wine looks dark red, almost brick colored. On the nose strawberry and black currant (cassis). On the palate strawberry, dark red fruit, black pepper, tea, bell pepper, licorice and chocolate. Full bodied wine with nice smooth tannins. Given the drinking window I reckon it won't get any better than this. Drank this with Ragu Cinghiale - tradtional wild boar ragu from Tuscany (perfect match).
