Tuesday, March 22, 2022 - lots of sediment in the bottle, dark and still slightly opaque. stunning super tuscan nose of stewed fruit, plum, cassis, spice, v earthy. palate is more of the same… big, hearty, bold, fruity and savoury. sensory overload in the best way. acidic pop mid palate and healthy tannic grip on the long finish. outstanding. based on tonight’s performance, there’s still likely a year or two left at peak.
