Friday, April 7, 2017 - Served next to '93 Brulees, the similarities were immediately evident. However, this was a bruiser compared to the more elegant and accessible Brulees. After an hour in the glass, it started to really shine, with the fruit becoming more apparent, and the nose revealing more spice. By the end of the night I preferred this to the Brulees, but for the table Brulees was WOTN.
