Have not touched it in a year and it seems to have "calmed down" with less grassiness and more nuances on the lemon and mineral finish. I like the mouth feel of some new oak but not gone thru full melo-.

Light straw color. Classic aroma of hay, cat pee and some grapefruit. Interesting when drinking. More full bodied than I would expect for a SB, especially given the color. Seems a bit short on acid, almost a bit tart. Good, but cannot decide what kind of wine it wants to be! Perhaps just on the decline some.

Blind Night (Kevin): Grapefruit and limes. Well integrated oak. Complex mid palate. Rich, caramel finish. Totally blew the guess on the varietal on this one. Very nice wine. Have always liked Hartwell wines. Great value. 14.8% alcohol. Brought by Josh.

Barrel Sample of their 1st vintage of white wine - being bottled in two weeks. Elegant styled Sauvignon Blanc. Flavors of grapefruit and lime with nicely balanced acidity and a refreshing finish.
