Lovely refreshing wine that had a fairly light nose, some apple and a little citrus. The palate was really smooth and refreshing with apples, pears and a tiny nuttiness. Really nice wine.

Limpid golden straw color, light body. Nose of granny smith apple, lime zest. On the palate there's green apple/pear, racy acidity, great minerality, serious wet granite. Nothing fancy or complex, but great typicity, all the elements of the genre in place. And a nice contrast to the fruit forward California-style chardonnays more widely available. Think of it as a mini-vacation to Chablis -- for $8. As aTuesday night food wine, it gets the job done with gobs of qpr to spare.

good qpr is an understatement. GREAT qpr. ALL CAPS baby. Really though - chablis for 10 bucks.... This is spot on.

Simple but well-crafted with light-medium body, smooth mouthfeel, and good acidity. Lemon and tart apple with subtle minerals.

What I want from a chardonnay, and cannot find in most American versions: No butter or oak.

For $8, a nice, simple, refreshing Chablis. No minerality or complexity, but a decent drinking wine with very good QPR.
