Another excellent bottle. Strawberry and mineral nose. Some watermelon, strawberries and mineral on the palate. Still a touch bracing for a refreshing finish. Excellent.

This wine has evolved greatly since it was released.. All the upfront sweetness has absorbed back into the wine, making it tighter and more in a fine perfect balance.. wonderful, as usual.

Nice cherry red. Watermelon, strawberry and minerals on the nose. Strawberry and minerals on the palate, and unlike prior bottle, more minerals than fruit. A nice hint of sweetness, but otherwise dry. Delicious and gulpable. My favorite rose this Summer and perfect with dogs and burgers from the grill.

Deep rosy color. A touch of sour watermelon adds more complexity to the strawberry, smoke and mineral aspects. This wine seems to be at a pinnacle right now. Excellent.

I have never seen a clump of white sediment in a bottle before. It was about 1/2" thick and covered the bottom of the bottle. There was some of this almost waxy sediment in the last glass or two, but otherwise the wine was unaffected. And it is a very good rose. Slightly sweet but very refreshing. Would buy again (if I can find it).

Another stellar vintage of Isabel's Cuvee! Perhaps a little deeper colored then last year's version, this current vintage is drinking very well right now. (Edit: Should add that the wine exhibits its usual cloudiness and heavy tartrate fallout)The sulfur has blown off and what's left is juicy watermelon, strawberry, mineral, and a touch of smoke and spice. Totally drinkable, quaffable, glugable, whatever. Excellent, and on the rose scale, Outstanding.

Very yeasty, champagne-like nose. Funky sour fruit as well. Full bodied and rugged. Lightly oxidized and chalky feel. Not sure I enjoyed it, but definitely one of a kind.

A delicious gulpable rose with simple foods off the grill. A cloudy cherry red. Nice nose of watermelon and minerals. Tasty balanced palate of strawberry, chalk and crushed stones with fruit primary. A nice hint of sweetness. One of the better roses that I can recall.

Classic rose notes of sour watermelon and strawberry. I noticed a touch of white pepper and faint yeasty elements as well. Bright acidity throughout, and even a slight touch of tannins towards the finish. Unfiltered, so this came off a bit cloudy in the glass. Surprisingly good depth, structure, and balance, this is a fantastic example of what's possible with rose.
Can't wait for my next bottle!

Still year after year my favorite rosé. Watermelon and strawberry nose with bright fruit and white pepper on the palate. The longest finish I've ever had with a rosé.

Even a year later, still the best rosé made in the states. Can't wait for the 2011 vintage.
