I have to disagree with the CT crowd as well as the anti-WA folks, because I think Jay Miller nailed this one - a really rich wine for circa $10 - aromas of spice, oak, and flowers with a mouthfilling palate of oaky red fruits and a longish finish.

Very tight upon opening; minimal if any aroma and acidic feel during entire first sip. Had in large bowl stemware. Extensive swirling exposed a chocolate & floral aroma. Flavors improved as well exposing a bold blueberry, touch of chocolate, a bit of tar and leather as well. Overall relatively thin wine. 20 or so mins after pouring, what remained in the glasses was undrinkable (vinegar.) Pouring from bottle started the process all over again. Makes a good table red at the sub $10 price point.

Aromas of red licorice and red berries with some green vegetables. Medium body with a little spice and red fruit. Not bad, just not very exciting. Easy to drink.

A nose of sweet and artificial fruit, dark purple in color. A light to medium bodied red, with cherry, herbal flavors and some spice, found it fake and just average even at this price.

Average at best. The fruit is a bit overripe and comes across a little green.

Solid, but not good in any one aspect. Lets see what the next bottle brings after a another year or 2
