Initially closed but after a while we get generous, dark fruit, liquorice, olives, bell peppers, garrique and a hint of sous bois. Still a good amount of tannins - quite structured - and a fresh acidity. Drinking very well!

Just the perfect amount of development! Deep blue fruit, lots of black olives and liquorice, Syrah to the fore. Still tastes fresh after a decade - distinctly savoury with a mineral tingle, all of the 14,5 % abv easily carried, not the least heavy. Excellent food companion to grilled chicken and sudiste-style roasted veggies!
This wine ranked in 2nd place of 8 at the Southern France wine tasting. It had just the right amount of acid at the front to help the Grenache with lively accents before moving to the smooth middle. The wine had a nice, long finish that made it very easy to drink.

Rich and yet a developed and fairly complex nose with dark fruit, herbs, wet forest soil and licorice. On the palate the wine is fullbodied, with round tannins, good balancing acidity, very good length and a somewhat fiery finish. A mature wine! Grenache dominated wine without wood-contact (could have fooled me) but made with full stems. Lovely wine, but the alcohol (14,5%) leaves too big a mark. We had it with roasted lamb, fetacheese-creme, red wine sauce, our own potatoes and grilled tomatoes. 89-90 p.

Still on the young side. Cool fruit dominated by blackberries and blueberries. Sweet liqurice and hints of sweet tobacco. Good minerality, medium+ lenght. Very nice!

Deep dark looks. Equally deep on the nose, with clean aromas of blue plum, blackberry, black cherry, black pepper, salty liquorice, lavender and fresh garrigue. Perfectly dry on the palate, well structured with notably high acidity for a Vacqueyras, excellent freshness and concentration of cool blue flavours. Finishes long and distinctly salty, without any perceived heat. Finally ready to go, this stunning wine should develop well for a decade at least. Seriously underrated here.

Shows nice aromatics of olive, herbs, plum, bell pepper, mint, and spices. The palate is light for a Rhone, with good freshness, and as many vegetal and herb notes as darker fruits. The tannins are mild for a younger wine and without much grip. Plenty nice if you like a restrained style Rhone. 89+ points.

Am a big fan of this producer and tried the 09 in the past and enjoyed very much. However, this was disappointing. Surprisingly thin and devoid of any life. Going through a closed period?? Much better on day 2. Still not a blockbuster like the 09 but more as I had expected.

45 minute decant then poured through a vinturri. Inky dark purple in the glass. Getting some sweet black fruits, violets, a hint of black peppers, and gamey meat on the nose. Blackberries, licorice, and black olive pits on the palate; tannic and hot; not that heavy in the mouth. Give this a couple more years until trying it again.

Blackish purple, good concentration. Youthful nose, mute, backward, with Syrah violets and white pepper dominating. Full bodied, tannic, bacon fat and black fruits, sweet toasted aromas. Modern in style, heavy extract, lots of potential but needs time. 88++
The color was deep purple with ruby hues around the edges. I found the nose to be pleasant with ripe blackberry, a hint of citrus and spice. On the palate it showed a medium body, with was juicy and very easy drinking, yet lacking any real depth with tart berry fruit. The finish was slightly drying with inner floral notes and tart berry.
This was an enjoyable wine but nothing really stood out to call it memorable. I'd call it any everyday wine but at $20 - $25 a bottle, it doesn't really fit the average drinkers daily price point.

Excuse the bodywork but this is stonking. Grenache and Syrah but it’s the Syrah that sings. Lovely savoury, peppery, tangy and fresh red wine.

To me this was surprisingly good. Well structured and balanced. Haven't formal notes but recall it to be pretty classic southern rhone

Relativt knuten, tunnel? Men med en kompakthet som lovar mer. Lakris, körsbär, plommon, röda vinbär och peppar.

Decanted over 3 hours, and still extremely closed. Can see it has potential, but needs a few years.

Very tart, nice berries, but probably would go elsewhere for the money.

Dark and smokey nose with berry-like taste. Tense feeling with syrah peppers... Not for me.
