  • Consumed over two evenings. Given people's general window for dinking on this one, I was surprised at the freshness of this wine and also pleased with its compexity. Lots of leather in the air and on the palate. Also quite a bit of spice behind the sour cherry profile. Can't see it get any better, but for the price and and the patience, it was drinking well now.

  • I was shocked at how nice this wine was for the money. It may be my top QPR domestic this year.
Crisp acidity and clean as can be. Bright Red fruits of strawberry and a little cherry. This bottle also had a nice fresh finish. I had a bottle 6 or 8 months ago and this one was singing far more that the prior bottle. Some folks might find it thin or lean, it was on the lighter side, but not thin IMO.
It cost me 14 bucks and I would buy a truckload if I could.
I rate it 90 points... outstanding.
