Lovely salmon color with beautiful, beguiling fruity, spicy tangerine and melon aromas. On the palate it's light-medium bodied, fresh with tart strawberry, melon and mineral flavors. Med long finish. Blend: 100% Grenache Gris; Fermentations: wild yeast & bacteria in neutral French Oak barrels

Delicious. My last bottle and the best yet. Once again, the wine had thrown a lot of sediment, so I decanted it. An elegant, dry, minerally rose with just the right amount of fruit (tangerine, muted strawberry, lime). Best Rose I've had this year, domestic or otherwise (outclasses Tempier Bandol Rose by a mile). Already looking forward to next year's vintage. 13.7% abv

This wine has settled into itself nicely. Decanted it to rid it of visible sediment in bottle. After decanting it was al lovely clear, king salmon color. Good complexity on the palate and a long dry finish. Might be my favorite domestic rose this year.

Beautiful. A return to a more restrained style than the 2010. Very linear and gorgeous strawberry cranberry and more.. will improve through the year .. but great now.. so elegant, and wonderful

Pretty king salmon color when in glass (bottle is green though so can't see the gorgeous color in bottle -- one anticipatory thing I love in a good rose). Really like the nose on this -- watermelon, strawberry sherbert and a slight hint of grenadine play nicely off notes of sour apple candy. Very evocative. Palate not as complex but has a nice heft to it: plenty of racy minerality and a nice saline edge. Medium finish. Was a nice accompaniment to roast beet and feta risotto and stood up well to it. Glad to have a few more bottles of this in cellar.

My next to last bottle! This year's version is very lean. Great tart strawberry, mineral and citrus (tangerine). Crispy and tasty. Excellent.
