À son apogé, les tannins sont fondus, un nez intense et une belle longueur en bouche. De la confiture et de la violette. Nous avons été agréablement surpris

An Amarone that is lighter in style and is more approachable at an earlier date. Fans of a richer, heavily extracted style will be disappointed, but this Amarone is actually much easier to pair with a wider variety of foods. It is balanced and elegant, with a little more body and weight than a Ripasso.

Good wine but only average for an Amarone... Nice depth in nose and taste. The alcohol does give some heat and might be hiding additional notes. Cherry, balasamic, wood, refreshing acidity, strong tannins. Will probably buy again. Cheap Amarone.

15.0% - No formal note (drank over 2 nights). Blackberries, liquorice, stewed plum, spice box (clove), refreshing acidity, a little bit too much heat from the alcohol on the first night, but the wine blossomed on day 2 and was much more approachable.

Clear crimson, young color. Nose never opened up, only showing some small fruit and a little oak. In the mouth this is a lot of wine, and quite a pleasure at that. Rich, balanced, M+ tannins, M+ acids and good fruit ending with an elegant oak-note. Will uncover some hidden treasures as the years go by. Keep! First visit to Restaurant Miisha (Yokohama). Wife agrees on the score.
