Had at a restaurant; nose is full of lemon peel, tart green apple, floral notes, hints of almond, crushed stone, a hint of pear. The palate is super fresh and lifted with juicy acidity. Concentration/depth is good though not great. Finish shows great balance and lingers. Really tasty.

Lots of new oak that's not fully integrated, grilled hazelnuts, butter, almost to the verge of rancid butter but it blows away. Delicious and elegant, clearly chardonnay of high caliber, but the fruit is almost too thin for the new oak. Many guessed new world chardonnay. Will be better with time. Good clean finish. My guess: Bouchard Meursault 2007.

BYOB - Typical wines from classic regions (Sollentuna, Sweden): I find it hard to see the beauty with all this massive oak, mostly popcorn and burnt butter. High acidity, intense, edgy. Might settle down but for now I cannot give it a higher rating.

This is quite lovely and drinking very well now. Still young really, but I've been bitten by premox too many times to try to push the envelope. The nose here is beautiful; lovely ripe orchard fruit, hazelnut, a hint of smoke, jasmine, and a bit of minerality. The palate is super fresh and vibrant, but has really good depth and lovely richness that shows like a classic and beautiful Meursault. Really delicious.
Phenomenal wine. Still a tad too young but ever so impressive. Appears to have been made yesterday with striking freshness in the acidity but still very outspoken on the fruit. Will wait some years with my last 2 bottles - if I can

Fantastic wine still young but something is starting to happen. A taste of fennel stone fruit, chalk and fantastic acidity. A bit toasted nose with stone fruit flint and citrus.
Will be beter with some more cellaring

Stylish wine with tension for days, but mostly acid rather than added complexity.

PNP into Riedel Burgundy glass (“Root” day): Pale golden to the eyes.
Superb palate with lots of minerality and bright acidity. Lean and energetic as signature from this producer.
95-96 points.
1.5 hours upon opening, about 1/2 left: more back to grapefruit and citrus oil notes.
3.5 hours upon opening, 1/5 left: falling back to more lemony and zesty dominant style.

Acker Merrall Bicentennial Gala (Cipriani Wall Street - New York NY): Late night, small glass, brief note. Apple and lemon zest with very good + concentration and length for its level, even if ending with a slightly tart finish.

Rich and elegant. Ripe fruit with good acidity, nicely integrated oak. Just like a Meursault should be, in other words.
