Very faint gold color, medium bead, and a lemon-y nose. On the palate, a weaker mousse, with a very nice lemon/lemon custard flavor, and a good but not very long finish.

An International Challenge: Languedoc vs. South Africa (World Service Restaurant, Nottingham): 11.5% abv. Pale straw. Crisp nose somewhat (though in a nice way) reminiscent of stale custard with floral scents. Very fresh, slightly sweet with some apples. The bubbles fade rather quickly. My guess would be that it's a blanquette de limoux. Very Good/Very Good Indeed. This received 8 votes out of 14
