Another really nice bottle of this wine. PnP but tasted over few hours. Nice fresh ruby crimson color. Needs a little air. Rich texture with nice cherry and floral notes, some vanilla/baking spice and just a hint of dark chocolate. Good acidity and an undertone of minerals. Good length on the finish. Great with horseradish crusted Icelandic Char. Plenty of life left with some improvement possible with additional secondary development.

Not sure of my number, but I love this wine. Full bodied and full of flavor. Deep and strong; velvety. Goes very well with property cooked beef or a rich ragout. Complements good cooking.

I largely agree with @OldWines below. Needed about 4 hours of air before it started to shine. Before that it was disjointed, and the 14.5% ABV was a bit oppressive. Still, I’m a little underwhelmed by the lack of complexity.

Decanted at 6pm and tasted over several hours. Very youthful slightly translucent garnet crimson. Nose and palate have vanilla, ripe red cherry, baking spices, pomegranate and a long lightly earthy finish. Very nice balance of richness, fruit and structure with moderately bright acidity. This was a little bit on the rich and ripe side, less elegant and more powerful than the average Oregon Pinot. Still very nicely paired with grilled steak. Still fairly youthful.

Short decant but drank over 4 hours. Expected a more mature wine but this was lighter than expected and was missing something. Not sure what I think that is but wine didn’t match the profile we thought this would be. A decent wine but many better at this price point.

Tasted at the winery. This bright, medium ruby colored wine was aged in 48% new French oak. It has a very floral nose with roses and red berry most prominent. On the palate there is a very restrained strawberry, mineral and earthy profile with medium to high tannin and acidity and some tobacco on the finish. This needs time but should be great with 5-10 years of bottle age in a good cellar.

Rich, full, saturated with berry fruit, aromas of bright cherry and strawberry, this was the crowd fav in a tasting of 7 excellent 2014 OR PNs.
