Yellow straw in color. Nose of apricot, peach and golden apple. Honey, almond, peach, and stewed apricot on the palate. Full-bodied with some phenolic bitterness; low acidity.

White and Red Blends (Farpointe Cellar): The nose had peach, floral notes, orange zest, and some slight minerality. The palate was crisp, and had stone, earth, lemon, and a floral finish.

This bottle was pretty amazing. Deep yellow in color, with solid acidity and a cornucopia of flavors involving melon, marzipan and toasted honey. Should age very well, but very nice right now.

Chris suspected that the case of this he had was compromised, since the first 5 bottles all showed a flaw. For fun, we opened the last seven to see if there was a drinkable one in there. One was or two were drinkable, if not quite appealing, the rest varied between bland and disgusting. Oh well.

Showing more stuff with a little more age, loaded with a garden of flowers and crushed stones. Wonderful just to smell in the (proper) glass, refreshing on the palate but not hugely deep or rich there (that's OK)

Enjoyed this wine very much...thanks Chris. Floral nose, and tons of classic rhone terroir and mineral...the rhone white grapes really shown throw on this. Very classy, elegant wine.

Showing well, with good spicy "oily" CdP blanc-ness. Still refreshing and a great food wine, nice.

Spicy, fresh and lively--classic white CdP. Not huge or boisterous, but nice and great with food.

Dinner Vic, Carla etc--fresh and ripe CdP Blanc. Not as expressive as I remember at the estate, but wonderful and balanced nonetheless.
