Final bottle of the 2014 vintage, a bit harsh even after decanting. Developed (balanced) slightly better on second day / evening. Anticipating the 2016 vintage.

Smooth, full, round and dry - the everyday tuscan which is somehow just a little bit too good. Still some time to go - better on the second day - will hold.

Has nice opulent and a bit four square blackberry and vanilla depth with good layering and freshness. Ends mediumish and tapering. 13%. This had two hours aeration. Maybe it could have benefitted from more time. Lay down for a couple of years and wait and see. This is quite serious.

The nose is sweet with a note of baking chocolate. Black cherry and tart currant carry chewy, leathery tannins. White pepper and baking spices are followed by a hint of cigar box on the medium finish. Give this one another year or two. It's aging gracefully.
Enjoyed this @Eataly in Boston. A nice table wine that went well with our meats, cheeses, bread and other goodies. Balanced front to back and not overly complex.

Very smooth, dry, soft, slight jam. Nice lush fruit. Paired well with Rigatoni with Porcini mushroom sauce. Good value.

Deep dark purple. Smooth taste. Medium fruit forward. Good every day wine. Slight jam. Pepper on the end fades.

This hasn’t quite come together balance wise. Uninspired to take the next sip. Maybe better in 2 years.

Nice but doesn't bring back memories of the Chianti area.

Very solid, lots of currant and other Bordeaux varietal character, decent depth and richness; good.
