Completely agree with Brian Glas' note of 6/25/23. Drinking beautifully now with plenty of fruit for several more years of enjoyment. Great QPR for Oregon Pinot. Nicely balance tannins/fruit/acidity. Wish I bought a full case rather than only a half.

This is in prime drinking window. Crunch red berry fruit. A touch of tea and spice. In perfect balance. Went great with copper river salmon. Heaven. Pull one of these out when someone says you need to pay top dollar for good pinot. Blows away many $75 bottles from Burgundy.

Tasted on day 2. Medium ruby with slight bricking. Sweet cherries then bamm some crunch kicks in. Some spice and umami. Quite complex for an intro level wine. Plenty of lift on the finish. An excellent QPR. Picked these up for $19.50 direct from the winery.

Tasted after 1 hour of air. Still tight and needs time. Medium garnet color. Some floral and red berry fruit on the nose. Sweet cranberries. Medium plus acid. Excellent balance. Plenty of lift on the mid palate. Some spicy notes. Medium plus finish. An excellent QPR. These Haden Fig/Evesham Wood wines are some of the best values in Oregon.

Dark purple. Cassis, red fruit and tobacco on the nose. Great balance with medium acid and smooth tannins. Medium to long finish. Tastes of blackberry, minerality, with some floral notes.

Needs time. Starting to open after 2 hours of air/decanting. Bright red cherry fruit. Very sweet. Some tea/herbal notes in the background. Some spicy tannins. Medium finish.

Call it ‘value epitomized’ … because we all know the broader WV designation delivers incredible Pinot’s – this one does so at a fraction of the price!
Imagine picking blackberries in a forest…right after a downpour - taking in all the aromas of petrichor, damp leaves, tasting those perfectly ripe fruits: that’s the sensory experience this wine brings. There are some good things coming out of Eola-Amity Hills & this one makes my radar now.
Rule #1: pull the cork & wait 60 minutes (minimum) before diving in. It needs the air.

These entry level wines from Haden Fig/Evesham Wood are some of the best values in Oregon. Never would guess that this is some generic Willamette Valley bottling. Much better than many of the single vineyard wines that cost 2 to 3 times as much. Nice sweet/sour? raspberry fruits on the palate. The tension between the sweetness and sour on the palate is very interesting. Comes in very sweet initially and then bamm the acid kicks in. Nicely balanced. The finish is very long and sweet. Goes on and on.

black cherry, raspberry, wet dirt, menthol mix with under brush. slightly less ripe red fruit on palate, mod acid. not sure where up is from here at this price.

Opened 90 minutes ago. This really needs some time to show its true stuff. Very tight after opening. Very expressive cherry notes on the palate. Good crisp acidity that provides balance to the rich fruit. Very long and persistent finish.
