Medium ruby; garnet edges. Aromas of cherry, plum, orange peel, tar, bit of smoke or ash, and graphite. A bit thin on the palate w/ light to medium body, medium acid and finish, with flavors of cherry, lemon, and a bit of spice on the back end. Fairly simple, straightforward wine, but at $12 paid, I suppose it's fair enough. Not upset at the wine, or the fact I only bought one.

Decent cab for price. Dark cherry licorice. Moderate tannins. Enjoyed one glass pre dinner and second with left over lasagna. Will keep bottle for second night but at price point it’s ok if I don’t. Nice to have in collection

Solid Cab and a good QPR. Crowd-pleaser but interesting enough to be quaffable to the aficionados. Cherry, a little raspberry, campfire smoke, and hints of tobacco leaf. 87+ pts.

Grilled shishito pepper dominates when decanted, plus olive and a hint of jerky or bacon. Mercurial, however, and lots of vegetal aromas and on the longish finish.

This wine had an initial aroma of wet soil. It was a complex bouquet that reminded me of an amarone. Later I got cherry jam, rich caramel, licorice, smoke, and barbecued bell pepper. This was a complex, full-bodied wine with aromas and a palate that changed over time. Very good value at $20 CAD.

A nose of bright fruit and some spice, garnet in color. A medium to full bodied red, with black cherry, plum, licorice and spice on finish, a good QPR. www.winelx.com

"Dull garnet black color. Smoky, savory aromas and flavors of grilled peppers, olives, roasted berries, and hint of jerky with a satiny, tangy, fruity medium-to-full body and a graceful, delightful, medium-long spiced cherries, dried currants, and chocolate mint finish with fine, chewy tannins and light oak. An interesting combination of smokiness and juiciness that will play nicely with grilled meats–very distinctive."

surprisingly pleasant. kept it in warm kitchen, so wasn't expecting much, and didn't want to open decent bottle. now mature, decent finish.

Lush red fruits, plum, cherry, raspberry, vanilla, tea, very soft, short finish. Drink now.
