Intense dark red and almost opaque, aromas of blackcurrant, spice, herbal undertones and hints of smoke/dusty notes. It has a rich and fruity entry, round and smooth mouth-feel. It evolves quite well, from minty to meaty mid-palate, along with cassis, spice and hints of oak nicely integrated. Long savoury finish and the tannins has mellowed down, soft and fine. Very good QPR for a wine picked up from sales at $24.

After 2 hours this bottle had tremendous dark fruit flavor. Graphite of its youth was gone. This was the best bottle yet. Sorry that it's all gone now.

Black currant, blueberry, licorice, graphite. Full bodied and extracted, jammy. Well made and received many compliments around the table but I guess I'm just not a huge fan of Aussie/Chilean style cabs. To be fair, I have a slight head cold today, so my tasting may be a bit off.

2 hour decant before drinking. Hint of brown, strong Cabernet tartness and black fruit. Tannins on the back end. Missing the graphite from before.

Deft fruit all over and acid to balance. Well done but missing secondary flavors.
