  • man that's good. highly floral aromatics with confectioner's sugar, cake, white peaches, and grapefruit. rounded acidity. pink grapefruit, zest, peach, and slate on the palate. decent length and actually pretty dang dry. hard not to give it the mouthwash swish. keep going back to these bottles and they pair up with everything. great foresight to bottle this one up in the liter format!

  • PnPed. Bright grapefruit, almond pastry and powdered sugar, flint, some apple or peach or something fruity. The palate is very concentrated now - saline, flint, minerals, peach and peach pit. This really coating on the tongue - feels like a layer of almond and stone paste. I feel like this compresses to a beautiful point at the end palate before expanding again on the finish, which is potent, off-dry with lots of extract, peach, minerals, peach pit and tart citrus. Excellent for an entry-level wine. Nose - 5/6, Palate - 5/6, Finish - 4.5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1/2 = 15.5/20.

  • PnPed. Didn't get to focus on this much - it had the Haart lightness and some pretty citrus fruit and herbs, but didn't wow me. Some minerality. Of course, with the 2016, it was much better after 24 hours, so maybe it didn't have a chance given the time I gave it. I have another bottle and will be sure to track it. Nose - 4.5/6, Palate - 5/6, Finish - 4.5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1/2 = 15/20.

  • 05/17: sooo classic and impeccably correct, loads and loads of acid, mineral, and pretty, pure fruit. almost too much at close to room temp, liked it more chilled. wished for more sweetness to balance things out. 92

01/18: it's the most gorgeous nose when first opened, florals and stones and everything that's impossible to name, which closes down a bit on the following days and becomes more savory. Acidity is still as striking. 91+

  • Damn fine. Peach fruit, high acid. Ripe celery seed.

  • Wow! This is really impressive and I'm thinking maybe the vintage hype is at least true in this case. Lime blossom, wet stone, mandarin, hint of an almost agave-like fresh pepper, so bright and electric. This is quite excellent and a steal for a snapshot of this vintage's potential in an affordable cuvée.
