This light red wine is not particularly interesting by itself, but was fine paired with my simple pork loin roast with onions, carrots and mushrooms. It's very dry, a bit high in acidity, but overall well balanced with the tannins and mouth feel. It nicely compliments the meal without adding any noticeable flavors.

Medium purplish, and homogeneous to the rim. Pronounced, expressive rose floral aromas, and underripe black cherry. Medium bodied, with an acid punch, soft silky tannins. Flavours of black cherry, plum, red peppercorns, and some leafy feels. A fair finish. Good example for a simple food wine

WSET Diploma - Class Two - Grape Experience; 1/4/2020-1/5/2020; 1/4/2020-1/5/2020 (San Francisco Holiday Inn Golden Gateway): A: Medium purple N: Pronounced intensity [medium for instructor]. cherry kirsch, Squashed banana, bubble gum. candied strawberry, violet. Youthful little number. P: Dry, high acid, medium unripe tannin, medium body, alcohol, intensity and medium (-) finish C: This wine is out of balance with the coarse tannins and though it picks up a half point for intensity on the palate, the finish and lack of complexity make this an acceptable quality wine. Made for early drinking.

Tasty noveau with dinner tonight. Crimson colour. Red cherry and something along lines of a mixed fruit smoothie. Got overpowered by the bu7ter in the mashed potatoes so it had me scratching my head what kind of food can really stand up to this wine.

nose: pretty much DuBoeuf usual Beaujolais nouveau, albeit a little light and oaky; palette: medium fruit with a little less oak, still not as good as 1985

Last year's version of this was excellent but this was just a little too hot for me--alcohol just not close to being integrated. Still, there is plenty of dark fruit and some spice so I will wait a month or so and try another bottle. Price about the same as last year so we, the customer, didn't have to fund the 25% tariff on this French wine.

Medium ruby red colour. Medium nose with banana, tutti frutti and strawberry. Medium taste of banana, tutti frutti, strawberry candy and peach candy. Medium long and dry finish. High acidity. Light tannins. Light body. A classic Beaujolais Nouveau made with Maceration Carbonique. Goes well by itself.

We always look forward to drinking the Nouveau on the first day whenever we can and have labels we have saved from Georges DeBouef bottles going back over many years. This had more fruit than some years and certainly more body. Often these can be quite watery, but this year was not so should point to a good vintage!

Lembranças da minha infância: chiclete tutti frutti no nariz e um Q-Suco enjoativo no palato. Encarei duas ou três taças, o resto foi para o ralo.

Not bad for what it is. Last couple of years this Nouveau had a bit of a body.

Enjoyed more than most years, probably because is was closer to a medium body vs light body is earlier years. Still a nice fresh cherry flavor.

It was really good this year! Berries and forest fruits with an oaky finish.
