Rich for a SB but the grassy notes are there. It’s a solid wine with an Austrian persuasion that would pair well with freshwater fish or maybe even schnitzel at this point.

92+ points, so a + more than my previous tasting note; the expressiveness of the SB packed in a very good balance. From the grassy impression with white flowers and fruit to the ripe and refressing citrus and the smooth taste to the lovely and long finish this wine shows the qualities of the SB.

A nice evolution since the bottle I had last year. The strong lemony acidity is gone, and the fruit, acidity, and secondary elements are all nicely integrated.
The nose is quite lovely - beautifully perfumed with floral and herbal elements.
On the palate citrus, salt, mineral and herbal notes. Very enjoyable wine over two nights.

See my October 2021 tasting note and the wine has deveoped since in line with a perfectly ripe freshness and acidity, a dry bouquet with a grassy hint, medium to full bodied and very balanced, nothing hefty as SB can be; can become even better.

This is danged good SB - and still very youthful. Nose gooseberry, lime, mineral, green pepper, chives. Palate incredibly acidic, yet, with tons of ripe fruit - long mineral finish supporting great fruit that goes 30+ seconds. This is superb - I'd argue it runs circles around many/most Loire SBs (which I love). The

Consumed over three days, best on day 2 and cold. Day one the lemony acidity overpowered the lovely herbal and stony mineral notes so they were much more in the background. The acidity settled down a bit on day 2 bringing everything in balance. By day 3 the fruit had faded a bit too much but was still quite good.

Not (yet) with the complexity and depth of the '15 (see my tasting notes), but already, ripening and showing purity and balance; so far away from the gooseberry-SB. Give this wine some time to develop, hopefully, tot the level of the '15.

Very nice and fun to drink. Kumquats, orange peel, basil, mint, very tart. The wine is far from one dimensional. As an aside, arm-pits white pepper are here too. They don’t ruin the wine, just add some complexity.

"Amercans don't know what gooseberry tastes like."
A lot of Americans say the "cat pee" note on various Sauvignon Blanc is gooseberry. I don't think that's right. I think THIS wine actually tastes like goosebery; but most Americans have never tasted or smelled a gooseberry before. There's also some lemon, grapefruit, apricot, white peach, fresh sage, bay leaf, wet stone. Body is medium, acidity is high. Crisp all around. A lovely pairing with some smoked salmon.

A nice expression of SB. Very heady perfumed nose (tropical, tangerine, grass). Nice minerals. Moderate finish.

Exotic, full flavor, caroway, line, kiwi, kumkwat. The wine has too much going on.

Lemon, lime, peach.
Not too much mineral. Well balanced acidity.
Good aperitif.
