14.5% alcohol; produced & bottled in Chile, Santiago; imported by Pacific Bay, Hopland, Mendocino County, California; non-composite, real cork, 50 mm long -- longer than the customary 45 mm wine corks -- maximum wine penetration 3 mm, cork aroma of cork/hay with a background of sweet/sour cherries and New Zealand Manuka honey; long legs, dark red; fruit forward nose of cassis, citrus; opened, vinturied and tasted after about 20 minutes at 11 degrees C; a full to medium bodied rush, followed by an interwoven complexity of tannins, fruitiness, and sourness, in that order; the long finish trails off into a fruit unlike any I've tasted; if you have this wine or can get ahold of one or more bottles, keep it for Thanksgiving dinner; I can't imagine a better pairing than with turkey and its traditional trimmings

93pts. I always uncork a Pinot Noir bottle I have never tasted before with some trepidation - most of the time the affordable ones are not good at all. But this one is quite the exception - it is long, savory, and neither green not overoaked. Of course this has a new world profile - it's a medium-body, fruit-driven PN, but it has very good balance and intensity on the palate. I wrote down on my notes red cherries, strawberries and raspberries, and although it is not really complex, those which are cost 10 times more, give or take.
Very nice QPR here. I will buy again.

I've been through most of the vintages of this wine since 2013 and this might be the best yet. Medium / deep ruby in the glass. The nose is beautifully defined with dark cherry, cranberry, blood-orange, spice, graphite and a real smokiness that I find very attractive. The palate is rich, concentrated, bold and textured with great poise and balance. It finishes long with silky tannins that leave just a little grip. This is a serious new world Pinot that sells for roughly £15 in the UK. Oustanding for the money and easily accessible. Drinking now and will continue to for another 5+ years. The quality coming out of Chile / Argentina from the wider Concha y Toro portfolio is just amazing. Would sell for 3 x the price in Burgundy.

Decent Southern Hemisphere Pinot. A little green, but a great Tuesday night wine.

Very nice, but tannins not quite as rounded and velvety as the 2017, unfortunately. Still very good (excellent I should say) value for money!
