Needed time to open up. Lots of sediment. Cassis, roses, spice, secondary aromas. Interesting and enjoyable to smell. Palate states smooth and somewhat lite. With red fruit dominating. Some secondary flavors but muted. Somewhat hollow in the middle and the finish is nice but leaves me wanting more. I really wanted to love this. It's just OK. Probably would not buy again.

Well whatever may have been here at one time has faded behind substantial tannin. Some washed out fruit, a half-mouthful of acid and lots of gritty tannins on the finish. I guess most Wash cabs have a shorter shelf-life than Cali or Bordeaux versions. I would drink up or save for a couple of years and hope it is going through a dumb phase. But I don't think it will recover. Drink now.
PnVnD. Medium maroon in color. Alluring nose of deep red fruits, camphor, and a touch of graphite. Light in texture (in a good way) with silky smooth tannins. Great persistence in the finish.
Enjoyed in a Riedel Vinum Bordeaux glass at about 68F°.
Paired beautifully with Cabernet Burgers with Bleu Cheese http://www.chewoutloud.com/2013/08/05/cabernet-burgers-with-blue-cheese/

Suffering heat damage. Bottle arrived warm from Lot18. Upon opening, perfectly ripe, pure dark raspberry on the nose. Slightly astringent sweetness on the palette evolved into a disjointed mess. Too bad. Caught glimpses of what was probably a nice wine.

Past prime. Probably should have enjoyed this last bottle about 5 years ago.

Tasty, but a little closed up still. Plenty of tannin here that could still soften up. Nevertheless, delicious.
