Very light style and probably faded a bit after 12+ years. Strawberry, a little mushroom, and hint of blueberry. Still enjoyable and very drinkable but certainly past prime.

Different than a year ago. It has lost some crunchiness and tannin. Good but different. Not a lot on nose, simple but integrated on palate, dark cassis notes. Opens a bit with some air, a bit plusher, chalky minerality on nose, sweeter fruit, soft tannins. Decent quaffer for a meal but not much beyond that. Great price for quality though. Drink others soon.

Simple but refined Pinot. Has good balance with light tannins and acidity. Notes of red berries, red licorice and a hint of chalk. Not a stunner, but very food friendly.

Bright clear pale ruby color. The nose is clean, medium - intensity with developing aromas that are somewhat closed with predominately dried cherry and tobacco notes. The palate is dry, medium acidity, low soft ripe tannins, medium - alcohol, medium - body, medium - intensity, short length with flavors of more meagre dried red fruit. This is a barely acceptable red Burgundy in terms of quality and clearly lacked complexity and concentration, the fruit was dull and the wines overall structure just felt shapeless. Drink now as this will likely not improve. About $14 US retail.

On the nose Cherry strawberry, strong nose of sweet vanilla oak but balanced. I have tried alots of new world pinot noir especially australia. Most of aussie pinot except some in tasmania seems to be to harsh and not balanced. This Marsannay is cheap price but very nice drinking. Beautiful mouth feel and very delicious. Very one dimentional but I can drink bucket of this. Hope to get some more. Should hold for year or two. Bargain burgundy.

Clean nose. Straightforward cherry/berry aromas. Fruity, no hard edges on palate. Not much tannin. Not a lot of regional distinctiveness, but a good wine nevertheless. Ready to drink.

Seepage from cork, likely due to heat damage. Still, an enjoyable simple red burg, which didn't have any noticeable defects, but probably lost some fruit due to poor treatment.

Light red. A brief blow of funk initially. Cherry, talcum powder, bit of woodiness on the nose. Light bodied, fairly silky. Some tart cherry and dried strawberry preserves on the palate. Reminds me somewhat of a strawberry pop tart. Lots of acidic structure. Thinnish finish.

Nice color. The nose shows lightweight aromas of cherry, spice, earth and minerals. This is medium light bodied on the palate with decent concentration but a lack of finesse. The medium length finish features coarse tannins and bright acidity.

My everyday Burgundy at the moment. Simple enough, but has structure to stand up and make an impression. Put it up to New World Pinot, and you will easily see the difference: dry, structured, disciplined cherry-currant fruit, light, lingering. Key for me is structure; I like it.

This wine was la bit light and past its time. Despite this, it paired well with breaded Parmesan chicken. It was simple, smooth and somewhat elegant.

Last bottle. Still good and vibrant, not flabby, almost better second day, hard to tell. Still would probably drink this younger. Good value.

Past its peak. Was still good, but had no nose and flavor was soft. Went well with lasagna.
The wine looks Ruby colored. The legs are Fast.

Red fruit with some anise on the nose. mouth-filling, tart, slightly tannic and bitter on the palate.

Nice burgundy-style Pinot Noir. Light barnyard on the nose. A bit tart, so drink with food.
