I thought better than expected...let sit 2+ hours
Smells very Washington cabby. But its the damn Merlots which are the amazing thing.
Reininger Winery Tasting (Storyteller Wine Company, Portland, OR): Very fruit-forward, but with a nice backbone of tannin and acidity. Raspberry and cassis flavors, with some nice peppery earth. Drinking quite well.
really smooth about an hour after opening. This one needs to breath
