Jimsomare Vertical at The White House (The White House, Anaheim, CA): Nose seems a bit tight at first but becomes rich and shows notes of pepper, meat, mint and chocolate. Clean and balanced with good concentration. Classic Cab palate showing some tannin and spice. The best of the Cabs easily.

Brought to Jimsomare tasting at Anaheim White House. This had nice balance, still plenty of red fruit. A little spicy even, with a hint of cinnamon. This was probably my favorite of the Cab flight.

Pulled from David's cellar during his engagement party. I like this. Very smooth and direct, but lean from age. Feels like it lost some volume but didn't really gain in complexity. The cassis and dark currant fruit is clear and uncomplicated. Enjoyable.
