On the nose there are cherries, vanilla with a faint hint of cola but not over the top. The cola notes blew off after about 1/2 hour and it left a velvety smooth Pinot with a lot of fruit on the palate and a long finish.

Redfruits. Root beer and cola. Candied red fruits on the nose with some black fruits. Nose of uncleaned lettuce. Some earthiness on the palate. Day 2 - just decided this was a little too candied for me.

Visually, this medium bodied red presents itself in a shade of magenta. Very clear visually- not cloudy at all. Classic Pinot Noir ripe strawberry aromas on the nose, which evolved over time with hints of spice and chimney smoke at Christmas time. Floods the palate with vibrant flavors of red raspberries, and slightly sour cherries. Silky smooth finish. Quite enjoyable and not disappointing at all.

Light ruby in color with a moderate pinot nose. Opened and poured without decanting. Light red fruit like raspberry and sweet cherry mixed with darker blackberry and black cherry and also showed some spice. No earth but some tannins evident at the opening. The fruit was not full-flavored but a bit lean, which made the darker fruit more dominant.

Less impressive than previous bottles, tonight's wine came across as a bit flabby and one-dimensional. Fat cherry and smoke flavors dominate with a rounded, simple finish.

To the eye, this is one of the most crystal-clear wines I can recall. Deep fruit on the nose. On the palate, not yet resolved.Mid-weight. Good balance, but the component parts are not yet integrated/resolved. Try again in 12-24 months. I can see the WS 92 pts once this settles down.

Medium red. Earthy forest floor. Strawberries. A little heat. Initial attack of sweet red fruits. Tangy and tingly on the palate. Medium bodied. Seems a little flat on the palate but has a zippy, acidic finihs. Smooth tannins. Day 2 - nose actually more restrained, less earthy. Everything more neatly knitted together. Not complex at all but very pleasant.

Medium, clear red. Medium aromas of cherry, earthy pine, tea. Decent, but nothing amazing. Perhaps a year or two in the bottle would bring out something more interesting in this wine.

Classic RRV aromas with forward fruit flavors of blackberry, smoke, pepper and an undercurrent of wild berry. Balanced finish with good length. Not super complex but far from simple. Very good

I completely disagree with the other poster's score and assessment.
Light to medium bodied. Sweet fruit on the initial attack with mild, sour tannins and a bit of spice on the back end. I like the Blue Jay better, but this is still a very well made PN. It needs a few minutes in the glass to open up.

Good with food; otherwise, too much cola for my taste. Lots of bright cherry and raspberry, with dirty mushrooms. Less cola and I'd score it higher.

Not a lover of this wine. Tasted nothing like a Pinot Noir. An over the top fake fruit bomb. Some people should just not under take making Pinot.

Took about an hour of decanting to open up but really came alive and was an excellent Pinot. Had a grippy, but smooth tannic finish.

Tart strawberry jam. After a hour in the glass the acidity began to wain. Started to feel a little flabby.
