Half. 11/24. After a couple of seemingly evolved bottles with prune and coal tar notes, this is back in its stride. Mid ruby, just starting to show some garnet at the fringes, red fruit, a touch of wet earth and some early autumnal development. Retains a sense of bite. Good. ***

Half. Hmm, hopefully this is just a phase, but similar to last couple of halves — pruney, slightly stewed fruit. No coal tar on this one, and it is a bit more together with some bitter cherry fruit. Heavy sediment too. ***

half. Quite dark, slightly pruney fruit. There's also a touch of something darker and more herbal, coal tar almost. Not the first time I've noted that character with Bruno Clair, and not just with 04s. Dark and a little surly on the palate, again with a slightly stewed character. Hmmm. **

Half. A lovely, bright, vibrant ruby. Nose seems quite evolved with a slightly pruney element to the fruit a touch of caramel. Palate initially quite tight with a sense of redcurrant fruit, but lots of avidity and a spiky feel. Hmm, hope this is just an odd bottle or a curiously awkward phase. **

Popped and poured. A mix of firm red cherry and berry with earth on the nose. Same flavors come through on the palate. Medium weight and finish. Good cleansing acidity on the mineral based finish.

Deep cherry red. Bright dark red fruits on the nose. Quite exuberant with good crunchy fruit across th eattack and mid-palate, some moderately chewy tannins and good acidity. Need time to round out, but decent quality and interest. promising. ***

Poured from bottle in paris. Superb complex nose- obviously burgundy. Very intense on the palate with 'berry attack' and a long after taste. Maybe lacking some finesse- Subtle it is not but very very enjoyable for the money. Needs food.
