We drank this slightly chilled on a warm evening with a grilled miso salmon. It was delicious and a fine match for the al fresco meal. I think Swade's tasting note is absolutely on point. This is drinking beautifully now with everything in harmony. I find it a little hard to judge this wine's longevity from this point - I have three more bottles and my inclination is to drink them over the next year or so as I think the fruit will likely start to fade a bit after that and reduce the freshness which is a big part of its current charm.

Garnet color. Lifted strawberry aromas. Dark cherry and soy draped over an iron core. Tart, lingering finish. Very elegant overall. I would have guessed Chambolle blind for sure, which is high praise. Drinking well right now with mature fruit and softened structure, which is my personal sweet spot. Purchased for $70 from Premier Cru. 92

Much like other wines in the range, this is opulently tasty. Fairly dense, smooth (relatively for an NSG) if less fine than some of the other wines. Pretty but not complex at this point, but very good NSG 1er cru nonetheless; enjoyable and about worth the asking price.

Good drinker. Soy, a touch of menthol and some spice. Tart fruit.

Cherry core on an iron skewer. Nice interplay of demi sweet a tart flavors. Tightened up over time, so there is more to come. 90

Des arômes qui rappellent le sirop pour le rhume aux cerises. C'est peu complexe malgré l'aération. Une déception.

Bright red fruit, with a touch of forest floor. Nice bit of tannins and acidity.
