Found this is my cellar as I was looking for a Pinot to pair with salmon. I was afraid this might be past it prime, but not to worry. Nice dense color with perhaps a hint of brick around the edge; hints of black fruit, a bit of earth and violets on the nose. Nice but not overpowering dark berry and cherry fruit, some nice earthiness, and a finish that started strong but died out a bit (due to age, I’d think). It reminded me why we bought this wine in the first place; it was outstanding.

Deep ruby color, nose of violets, a hint of smoke, and some earthiness mixed in. Dark fruit, great balance and structure, and a killer finish that lingers on. Perhaps this should have been drunk a year or two ago, but if so, I can’t imagine that it was any better. Served with broiled salmon and salad.

Luscious black and red fruit on the palate with tea leaves, forest floor, and lots of spice and potpourri on the nose. Palate is fruit-dominated with notes of vanilla, fresh flowers, and a slight medicinal note.

perfect pinot! initial smells of anise with cherry and blackberry. Finsh with perfect acidity and subtle fruit. Perfect with braised pork loin with brown sugar, garlic and chipolte glaze.

Hasn't changed much in a couple years. Definitely needs to be drunk. Ready to go immediately after opening.

Excellent! Dark in color for a Pinot. Attractive, Blackberry and spice nose; some cherry on palate. Balanced, approachable with nice cherry finish.
