(Bollinger Champagne La Grande Année) Another Pinot Noir-dominated blend that is fermented initially in neutral barrels and aged for six years on the lees, reflecting the full-throttle house style. Medium yellow, featuring aromas of yeast, lime, mineral, and slate. For a big wine, it is silky on the palate, with leesy, coffee-bean, osso buco, lemon, mint, and nougat flavors.
