(Leitz Rüdesheimer Berg Kaisersteinfels Riesling "Terrassen") ($55.00) Grand Cru flavors and almost shockingly blatant terroir, in this case juniper and gentian, allied to a lovely woodsy touch and an umami of balsam and enokis. This is one happy freakin’ nut case of a Riesling. Probably just over the legal Trocken limit but I don’t care; to me it’s a perfect dry wine.
