Swollen flavors, overripe fruits, but wonderfully arranged and organized; shimmery brilliant high tones and a lemony finish. Really explicit counterpoint of vividly different notes – what I mean by “animated” or “kinetic” – yet also crammed with fruit. It’s 57% ’08 and 43% ‘07/’06. 80% PN (Mareuil/Avenay/Bisseuil) and 20% CH (Mareuil), disgorged 8/30/10, with perfectly judged and balanced dosage.
