  (Krug Clos du Mesnil) The nose was pure heaven. Very floral with salt, minerals, asian spices, nuts and slight green apples. Amazing mousse. Complex as any great white wine I have ever had in my life. Really concentrated but the texture is like the highest end Italian silk. So soft and elegant. Just an amazing balancing act of pure fruit concentrate and nut flavors along with seamless acidity. You almost forget this is sparkling wine it is so even-keeled when you are swishing it in your mouth. I was stunned after my first sip that Champagne could be this good. Long finish that slurps and slides its way down your palate with unbelievable purity and depth. Minerally, nutty, appley finish. Wow!
