  (NV Cedric Bouchard Roses de Jeanne) This was glorious stuff and cements the fact that Cedric Bouchard is making some of the most compelling Blanc de Noir in all of Champagne. This was even better than his NV Inflorescence which I had on Thansgiving, albeit it was much more backwards. There was a dazzling purity and intense stoniness to the wine along with excellent red fruit and a wonderful biscuity quality. There was also a serious metallic minerality that became more prominent with air. Even after much aeration it still seemed folded in on itself. I would cellar this for 3-5 years and then it will shed some of its intense minerality and become a little friendlier. The quality is obviously there but needs more time.
