(DOMAINE PEGAU DU PAPE RED) #1; COLOR-dark; NOSE-complex & exciting; cabbage & Brussel sprout covered by huuge vanilla component; dark black licorice; & some wild cassis; TASTE-Wow!! This wine is kicking serious ass; hugely complex; enormous amounts of bacon & leather; blueberry pie till your touching the sky; loaded w/ fresh berries; Vanilla for days; very luscious; huge mouthfeel; massive attack; beautiful firm ripe tannins, but covered w/ so much fruit & complexity; seamless mid-palate; structure; long, long finish; well-rounded; will last for 10+ years, but is approachable now; not cheap, but serious wine; elegance & refinement; tremendous effort; balance & harmony; RP-94; GV-94+
