(Patricia Green Cellars Pinot Noir “Etzel Vineyard”) Single Vineyard Patty Green Dear Friends, I don’t have the ability to do any research on these at the moment - I’m sitting in the stairwell of a loft building in NoHo tasting an eccentric Italian apperativo with Joe Dressner - we’ve escaped the day two clean up from his tasting which was attended by hundreds of natural wine enthusiasts from around the country and judging by the continued mess, it’s going to be a long day. The apperativo tastes like crushed cardamom pods mixed with dried cherries - an amazing combination of flavors and textures but more on that next year when it arrives... Many of you already know about the success Patty Green had in 2006 so this will appeal to those of you that have been waiting for these to debut. In general, this crop of 2006’s shows more varietal tone and elegance than the 2005’s. I need to let them know this evening if we want these so please let us know your interest at your earliest convenience (all of these are severely allocated by the bottle and only a few dozen bottles of each are coming to our state): 2006 Patricia Green Cellars Pinot Noir “Anden Vineyard” STRICT LIMIT 3/person 2006 Patricia Green Cellars Pinot Noir “Ana Vineyard” STRICT LIMIT 3/person 2006 Patricia Green Cellars Pinot Noir “Goldschmidt Vineyard” – STRICT LIMIT 3/person 2006 Patricia Green Cellars Pinot Noir “Etzel Vineyard” STRICT LIMIT 3/person Thank you, Jon Rimmerman Garagiste Seattle, WA OR5300 OR5400 OR5500 OR5600
