(Pousse D'or Corton Clos du Roi) #1; COLOR-medium; NOSE-really ripe dark cherry; not the classic barnyard; very young and vibrant; a floral aspect as well; PALATE-very, very young; really bitter on the back-end; a little disjointed; but you can't deny the power and that this is going somewhere; the elements are in place to be good in the future; the fruit is very pure and focused; the structure on the mid-palate is shockingly good; the transition of the upfront black cherry fruit to the green, floral component is seamless; easily 12-18 years of cellaring; this real shows a ton of potential; a slight cocoa component; also a sun dried tomato component on the back-end; great wine; look forward to seeing where this wine goes; AM-93; GV-91?
