  (Rocca delle Macìe Chianti Classico Tenuta Sant'Alfonso) This 100% Sangiovese offers inviting aromas of forest floor, dried strawberries, cherries, cassis, floral, cedar, and saddle. The palate is smooth and silky, with notes of sarsaparilla, turned earth, mushroom, candied ginger, and toasted almond. This wine has the signature zesty acidity of Italian Sangiovese, along with beautifully integrated tannins. Complex and balanced, it has a long finish. Special Report: Chianti Classico
