  (VRIGNAUD Fourchaume Chablis) Chablis 1er Dear Friends, This one speaks for itself. If you are interested in white Burgundy and enjoy drinking premier cru level wine for (from a young upstart no less), Vrignaud has delivered another gem from a vintage that is more successful than 2009. Without browbeating you, this sinewy (but rich), ginger and stone-filled wine is perfect any night of the week – the tariff makes it a temptation for mid-week but the quality answers the call for a special occasion – one of the most difficult tightropes to walk. While I realize many of you enjoy sharing some of the eccentric choices we’ve discovered with your guests, there’s nothing like pulling a true 1er Burgundy at a guilt-free price.... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED at a joke of a price.
