Sophistication and balance. Taittinger Brut Réserve is made from 40 % Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 25% Pinot Meunier, using perfectly matured grapes harvested from over 35 different vineyards. This subtle blend results in a light, elegant and balanced champagne.

Champagne is classified by sweetness. Brut, which means "dry, raw, or unrefined," in French, is the driest (meaning the least sweet) classification of Champagne. To be considered Brut, the Champagne must be made with less than 12 grams of added sugar per liter.

The entry onto the palate is lively, fresh and in total harmony. This is a delicate wine with flavours of fresh fruit and honey. Taittinger Brut Réserve, which acquires its maturity during three and four years ageing in the cellar, offers excellent aromatic potential.

In the case of unopened champagnes, most options available on the market are designed to be consumed young and fresh within a few years. It is mainly the vintage styles that have a lengthy shelf life of around 5–10 years, whereas high-quality non-vintage champagne lasts around 3–5 years.
