Château La Tour Blanche is made from traditional grapes of Sauternes, Semillon, Sauvignon and Muscadelle, this wine is the result of a severe selection. Harvest at Château La Tour Blanche is conducted by "tries" requiring 5-6 successive passages in the same rank in order to obtain only the best of Noble Rot. Each vintage at Château La Tour Blanche is vinified and aged in 100% new French oak barrels for 20 to 24 months. The policy of extreme quality conducted at Château La Tour Blanche has led the producer not to bottle some vintages judged only as fair; such was the case for years 1992, 1993, and 2000. The average annual production of the Château is 40,000 bottles.
