The most representative wine of the estate, Clerico's Barolo “Ciabot Mentin Ginestra” comes from vines planted at 400 meters with south to southeast exposure, giving the wine its characteristic explosive aromas of ripe red fruit, liquorice and mint. Vinification and ageing: Maceration with the skins in temperature-controlled steel for 12-14 days, ageing in oak barriques (90% new) for 22-24 months. Finishing in the bottle for 6-8 months.
