Ladbroke Grove Wines was established back in 1982 but went into a hiatus for a period until it was purchased and revitalised by John Cox and Marie Valenzuela as a family business.

Ladbroke Grove's fruit is sourced from selected parcels of estate and contract grown vineyards.

Source blocks also include the forty plus year old Shiraz vines from the "Township Block" in the heart of Coonawarra as well as the similarly aged Cabernet vines "Killian" Vineyard on the western edge of the terra rossa strip.

The Killian Cabernet is one only a handful of genuine Australian classics I have tried from recent Coonawarra vintages. The Riesling can also be a standout for the region.
