Aljibes
Of a more Mediterranean character, these wines’ frank, powerful aromas and elaborate palates evoke a world of unique sensations. They are made to surprise, and be enjoyed. The grapes are harvested by hand in 7 Kg baskets and brought immediately to the winery. They are then chilled to 5 degrees Celsius before a rigorous selection process, which ensures that only the best grapes become a part of the Aljibes family. Each variety is vinificated separately. Malolactic fermentation in French oak vats gives the wines incomparable roundness and softness. Ageing in oak varies between 10 and 20 months, depending on the variety and the growing season.

Varieties: Cabernet Franc (100%)
Ageing: 6 months in French oak barrels and 8 months in French oak vats of 10.000 litres.
Tasting notes: This unique and attractive single variety red wine displays a deep garnet colour, an elegant bouquet of red fruit and a palate of minerals with mild nuances of fresh herbs supported by sweet tannins.
